It was calm in her new home. The clouds seemed to move lazily, stretching out towards the south. NightCloud laid near the lake upside down in a fresh pile of soft white snow looking up at the sky. There was nothing for her to do. She couldn't eat, sleep, or fool around with her pack (they had all passed away by now). She was a lost soul with only one purpose in life, to kill the man responsible for her death. She wanted to avoid thinking about that man, that cruel being who tortured her so. His time would come, she kept telling herself. He will pay for what he had done, but for now she would relax in her new home.
