Tadita hadn't been back to her home for three springs now. Nothing seemed to have changed there. Her den where she last saw her beloved pups was now taken over by a badgers nest. She didn't want her den back anyways, the humans had taken away her hope of finding her pups at the moment. Just hours ago she was held by the fowl beings by ropes made out of horse manes. Luckily for her she found a way to escape their grasps, but now she was bleeding, sore, and the ropes still laid attached to her neck and feet. She had missed the feeling of cold snow melting in between her toes. She was home at last, far away from where the humans would want to be, White Wind Forest.
